Our lovely city has been dubbed "Silicon Beach" as we hold on to our geeky past of being ultra tech-savvy individuals (thanks to IBM). With our population estimated around 74,000; almost half of that population holds a Bachelors Degree and for every 10,000 people that live here, Bloomberg states that there are 15 patents held per 10,000. Not bad, eh?
