The architect's principal intent was to integrate the home to the beautiful natural landscape as much as possible and live intimately with it, since from the beginning it was the natural landscape that he fell in love with when he bought the property. To that end, extensive use of glass brings the outside into the house, and through the use of the same Jerusalem stone on the floor inside the home as well as outside, it makes it purposely more difficult to distinguish the outside from the inside.
