After Thanksgiving!

Well, what a great weekend. I am sure everyone had plenty of turkey and lots of great laughs with family and friends. One thing that I noticed before the holiday is an increase in activity in terms of showings and sales. I think buyers have sat on the sidelines for a while and now they are realizing that now is the time to make some purchases before the market turns.

It's great to see a better rhythm to the market. We can all agree that we had a great five years. What I think most people tend to forget for our area is that the fundamentals of why people buy in the Greater Boca Raton area has not changed. The lifestyle and weather that South Florida offers is second to none. Our market will always have a strong "backbone"! We might have some ups and downs, but in the end the Greater Boca Raton market will still remain reasonably strong and vibrant!

Koolik’s Believe in Boca Raton!

Boca Raton is a Great Community

Often times when people are looking for a place to live, they research different cities. One town that we all keep hearing about is well-known “Boca Raton”, but why?

“The wonderful thing about living in the Boca Raton area, explains Elliot Koolik of Koolik Group Realty, is that we are able to live in such a unique community that is not only extremely well-maintained and manicured but offers people of all ages an endless amount of things to do. In addition, Boca Raton is centrally located to airports and the great cities of Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, as well as offers some of the best public parks in the country.”

While some communities are known to cater to primary homeowners, Boca Raton and the surrounding communities not only cater to first time home buyers and year round residents, but also to investors, vacation home buyers and international home buyers. Not to mention, the influx of snow-birds who come down every season. Often times the snow-birds or snowflakes, who begin as just winter vacationers, decide they love the Boca Raton area so much that they end up buying a second, third or sometimes fourth home. This diversity of buyers brings strength to our marketplace which is unlike many other cities.

“Although the market has showed some slowing down, the real estate market has always had its peaks and valleys. says Elliot Koolik. The fundamentals of why people want to live in the Boca Raton area have not changed. We always seem to have a constant flow of people, between the baby boomers, young families, relocations, and international buyers who want to live in warmer weather. Boca Raton is still and always will remain a top destination. I believe that the Boca Raton area will be able to bounce back a lot faster than other communities and we will see the market pick right back up again.”

In the upcoming months, the Koolik’s are confident that the market will strengthen. Over the last month, there has been a significant increase in buyer traffic and sales. There is increased momentum which will clearly translate into an upward trend in the market.

“As a former transplant from Miami, I never realized that the Boca Raton area could grow into such a thriving and exciting place to live, says Wendy Koolik. Our family enjoys west, central, and eastern Boca Raton for all of the uniqueness that each area offers. Whether you are looking for a day at the beach, great shopping at the mall or a delicious dining experience, Boca Raton has it all!”

The Koolik’s believe that our marketplace needs a stronger dose of optimism. With positive thoughts and energy, the Koolik’s are glad to lead the way in real estate sales in the Boca Raton area.
